The best tip that I ever received before my wedding was to make sure that I put together a wedding scrapbook. This was something to be honest I have not really thought about before this and it’s something that many brides think they will not have the time to do because they have so much to do in preparing for her special day. We all know that organizing a wedding can be very overwhelming and maybe you think that the extra hassle of putting together a scrapbook may not be possible. The key to this is to make sure that you get everybody who is involved in your wedding involved in putting the scrapbook together.

There are a couple of things that you need to think about beforehand you need to decide whether the scrapbook will cover your entire wedding from your engagement to your wedding shower and wedding day itself and your honeymoon or whether you are simply just going to put a scrapbook together to cover your wedding day. Some people actually choose to do both on scrapbook covers the entire wedding and the other one will have more detail and focus on the wedding day itself and it’s amazing when you look back in years to come out all the memories simply start to flood back.

Choosing a color scheme and the theme for scrapbook is quite easy many people tend to choose colors that they are using in their wedding. Keeping everything simple and elegant is always a good tip. Try and have a rough idea of how many pages you were going to meet before you all get supplies in your local store if you have an idea of how many pages the final album will have before you visit your scrapbook store you will then have an idea of what budget you need to spend.

The main focus of your album should be that you are telling a story from start to finish. With this story you will of course include many photographs so it’s important that you have enough pictures to help you tell the story. One really nice tidbit is to include a disposable cheap camera on every single table at your wedding reception and then ask people to take photographs of the day so that you can look back at because you cannot be with everybody at the same time.

It’s a nice idea to make sure that you keep some of your wedding invitations, naming currents on the tables, wedding dress material and also bridesmaid dress material. You could also keep the receipts from your honeymoon, or a plane tickets. These will all help build up your scrapbook and give you something to laugh at in years to come when you see what price you paid for certain things and make memories flood back.
