What To Buy The Blushing Bride?

Who doesn’t love a wedding? The romance, the happiness, good food and drink and happy faces all round - it would take the hardest of hearts not to get swept up in the romance of such a happy occasion! And for the bride herself - well her wedding day should be the happiest day of her life. Of course one of the most important parts of attending a wedding as a guest is the gift you choose to give. Choosing a wedding present can be a daunting task if perhaps you do not know one half of the couple as well as the other.

Some people choose gifts that are suitable for both partners in the happy couple but some prefer to choose individual gifts for bride and groom aside form the usual wedding list. This is the way to give a gift that shows a more personal touch has been employed and demonstrates that you have thought about the couple beyond practical items they may simply ‘need’ for their home.

Finding a suitable present for a blushing bride should not be too difficult a task with the range of great gift ideas you can find particularly when searching the Internet for gifts. A luxury or personalised item makes a great gift that will make any woman feel special on her special day and it’s possible to find luxurious and personalised gifts at great prices so there is something for all kinds of budgets and your choice of gift need not break the bank.

And it’s not just wedding guests that may want to buy a gift for the blushing bride. Some grooms like to give their bride an extra wedding present to commemorate the day. This could be something simple such as a personalised photo frame that can be used to hold one of the treasured photos taken on the happy couple’s wedding day. Or perhaps some engraved champagne flutes that can be used on every happy occasion the couple celebrate from the time of their marriage onwards. A gift does not need to be expensive to mean something to your blushing bride and often something that shows some thought and has a personal touch shows that you care much more than showering someone with expensive but meaningless gifts.

For those of you who are self confessed hopeless romantics, a great wedding present for your bride would be to have a star or a rose named in her honour. What could show your devotion more than reaching out to the universe for inspiration! Another fun gift that might make your bride smile would be to choose something such as the hallmarked silver Rolo sweets that come in the ‘My Last Rolo’ boxes. Based on the popular and romantic television advertisement, this gesture shows your love for your bride whilst also being amusing. Your bride to be may appreciate a ‘cute’ but symbolic gesture of this nature.

However, if your bride to be is more traditional it may be safer to stick with a simple but stunning piece of silver jewellery she can wear and keep forever to remind her of the happy day. Obviously a ring is not perhaps appropriate as a wedding present but a silver locket that is engraved with your names, initials or wedding date and in which she can keep a small photo of you both is the perfect romantic gesture.

It may be that you want to create some more memories on the back of your special day and in this case an experience day would make a great gift for the bride and her groom. There are some fabulous gift experiences that can be bought that would create further memories once the wedding day and the honeymoon are over. From tours of vineyards for brides who are wine enthusiasts to theatre tickets for two or even lunch in the romantic city of Paris via Eurostar it is possible to find a romantic experience day gift that will be another great memory to add to your overall wedding day experience.

Whatever present you may choose for a blushing bride it’s also important to present it well. Women love to open packages and envelopes that are beautifully presented so don’t skimp on the presentation and make the surprise experience all the more fun for her. Choose pretty wrapping paper or a beautiful gift bag and embellish with ribbon or ready-made bows for that extra special touch. And don’t forget the card! Many women love to keep cards from special occasions to show their children or just to look at now and again to remind them of the happiest day of their life.
